Aisha Jamila Hinds is an American actress who is best recognized for her appearances in the television shows The Shield and True Blood. Ever since her debut in 2003, she has demonstrated her ability in the role of actress with stunning performances on television shows such as 9-1-1 Detroit 1-8-7, and Under the Dome. She was first noticed for her character Anna in 2005's film Assault on Precinct 13. The film was her role as Fannie Lou (a woman's advocate for women's the rights of women) in the biographical All the Way film that brought her fame as an actor. Hind has also been recognized for her role performed as Harriet Tubman within WGN America's historical drama series Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television announced that the show will continue for an additional season. Recently Hind completed filming for the Hollywood film Godzilla: King of the Monsters that is set for release by mid-2019. Bachchan made an appearance in Gurinder Chadha's Bride and Prejudice which is a musical and a ballet adaptation of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. This was the moment that Bachchan made her famous by bringing star power and beauty to her first major English-language film. In 2006, she returned to Bollywood with the hit film Dhoom: 2 before releasing Provoked: The True Story (2006). In April 2007, she got married Abhishek Bachchan who is a frequent co-star, and child of Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan in a marriage that brought together two of India's greatest personalities.
